Jon Bartos founded Jonathan Scott International in 1999 based on the principle
Talent Wins. Jon draws on his extensive industry knowledge and
experience to partner with clients to solve their critical staffing issues. It is
a fact that talent drives performance, and JSI is dedicated to finding "A" players,
the top 20% who will positively impact our client’s bottom line.
Jon’s background includes a successful sixteen-year sales and executive management
career in the automatic identification and data collection industries, where hiring
top talent was one of his chief initiatives. He served as:
- Vice President of Sales & Marketing — Lowry Computer Products
- Vice President, General Manager — Weber Marking Systems
- Vice President of Sales and Marketing,
AIDC — Paxar-Monarch
His professional experience gives him a unique business perspective; he knows the
marketplace and what it takes to win.
At JSI, Jon has assembled a powerful team that includes Top Ten award winners and
sales leaders, all dedicated to JSI’s founding principles of integrity and unparalleled
client service. This commitment to excellence has led to global success. Since opening
its doors, JSI has won numerous international awards and is consistently ranked
in the Top Fifty offices worldwide.
Winning is a passion for Jon. He was the 2004 MRI National Billing Manager of the
Year and has been in the Top Five national billing managers over the past ten consecutive
years with a personal career “cash-in” of over ten million dollars in just ten years.
Jon sets the pace at JSI with his drive, energy, and integrity. JSI awards include:
the 1999 Rookie Office of the Year, Top 10 Sales Consultant Office of the Year in
2001-2009, and President’s Gold Club in 2000-2009.
Jon always sets the bar high. He is not only competitive in business but on a personal
level as well. He has achieved national success in master’s level pole vault competition.
He was the 2004 national outdoor champion and took second place in the indoor championship
in Boston. Jon enjoys coaching others to achieve success. He established a local
training center for young vaulters, and he volunteers his time as a track coach
for Mason High School.
A strong foundation in community involvement is an important part of the JSI culture.
JSI received the United Way Good Neighbor award in 2000. In 2004, Jon was presented
the CEO Leadership Award for Warren County for his outstanding contributions. Jon
currently serves on the board of the Warren County United Way and the Women’s Resource
Collaborative Advisory Board.
