Melissa works with Jon to define and realize the vision of the firm they founded together in 1999. She brings a sense of order to the fast pace at JSI, and her attention to detail is legendary! Involved in all aspects of day-to-day corporate operations, her background is in finance and marketing.

Her work ethic and dedication contribute greatly to the achievement culture at JSI. She and Jon have built solid, healthy business relationships throughout MRI and sound partnerships in the local community. Melissa established a "working mom" initiative at JSI, an innovative program that reintroduces women to the workforce through individual career tailoring.

Melissa enjoys planning special events for employees to let them know they are valued members of Team JSI. Whether planning the annual Christmas party for JSI employees and their children (even shopping for each child so they have a special gift to open) or hosting a JSI family picnic at the Bartos’ farm, Melissa helps create an employee-friendly atmosphere. Her office door is always open, and she is never too busy to listen and to guide.

Melissa is especially proud of the new 6,000-square-foot office to which JSI relocated in May of 2005. She oversaw the building process to make sure the facility is beautiful, spacious and functional … with plenty of room to grow.
